House of Sauna was founded after we became increasingly drawn to the sauna, both for its health benefits and for the way it made us feel after a long session.
As we began using the sauna more often, the same issue kept coming up: our head would overheat first, our scalps would start to burn, and our hair would be left feeling dry and brittle from the heat.
That led us to discover the traditional Scandanavian sauna hat - a simple object designed to insulate the head, protect the hair and scalp, and make high-heat sessions longer and more comfortable.
